Braille Records is proud to announce the release of the new Thrashing Marlin album Donkey Deep.
Donkey Deep is the 4th album by the Wellington based duo comprising David Donaldson and Steve Roche and follows on from their 2006 album Wits End.

Donkey Deep contains 13 tales of woe and a couple of off the rails train journeys.
Buildings get burnt, lovers are cheated on, murder is committed, drug mules are caught, wankers suffer financial ruin, alcohol, drugs and people all suffer abuse. All the while the great river of life ambles along.

The instrumentation ranges from a number of the duo’s home made instruments, Biscuit tin guitar, Bass banjo, Cigar box guitar, as well ethnic instruments such as Kachapi, Seung, Telempong and Angklung to more traditional instruments such as Horns, Electric guitar, Piano, Harmonica and Percussion.

Thrashing Marlin have released 4 albums over their 15 year history.
